Best Persian food! Good price too. I'd keep ordering the salmon dish and it was done perfectly every time: broiled on the outside and soft but fully cooked inside. Sorry no picture because I ate half of the dish before I remembered about taking picture. Oh well! Our server was very nice, showing up whenever we needed help but did not hover. The ambiance was rather noisy. Don't come here on your first date unless you just want to eat and not talk at all. That what we did. Eat here, chat at home.

I always leave feeling full and happy! My favorites to order are the meat skewers rice plates with a side of yogurt. The meat is always juicy and tender with lots of flavor and the portion size is great. All the staff are always friendly but I do wish they were more attentive with refilling water or asking if you'd like another drink. I've given my water to my partner when we were eating because they were busy and I couldn't get anyone's attention to refill. Otherwise this is my go to place to get persian food.

Was visiting SF with a friend and my one must for our trip was Persian food -- Lavash did not disappoint! The best Persian food I've had (that was not my own family's cooking)! We tried the kashk bademjan, shiraz salad, fesejan, and shishlik -- everything was incredible. So delicious and fresh. Desserts were also great; both the faloodeh and bastani. Restaurant itself was beautiful and the staff was great! A must stop when I'm back in SF!

I am Persian so my family and I are very picky about our Persian food but I will say everyone enjoyed their food at Lavash very much! The food was delicious and seasoned well and the staff was very nice and attentive. I also want to note it was beautiful inside. The outdoor setting was really pretty too and if it wasn't so cold and windy we probably would've sat outside and enjoyed their flower set up. Only con is they have only one bathroom so as they were getting busier, the line started forming. I also hope they add some toilet seat covers in the future. All in all, it was a very enjoyable experience for my entire family and I highly recommend trying this place out if you're in the area!

The best meal I've had in SF and one of the most authentic Afghan/Persian meals ever. This was a foodie delight, the flavors were across the spectrum of palate pleasing and belly filling items. We had two platters that had a little of everything and their most popular stew. The service was excellent and it was quieter than most 8 table restaurants. Definitely worth the trip!

**5 Stars: A Taste of Iran's Finest at Lavash in Inner Sunset** Lavash in San Francisco's Inner Sunset is not just a restaurant; it's an experience that brings the flavors and warmth of Iran to life. This place holds a special spot in my wife's heart, and after dining here, it's easy to see why. From the moment you step in, Lavash envelops you in a welcoming atmosphere infused with Persian charm. The decor is elegant yet cozy, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal. We started our culinary journey with Kashk-e Bademjan, a luscious eggplant dip that paired perfectly with freshly baked lavash bread. Each bite was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to authentic flavors and quality ingredients. For our main course, we savored the Koobideh Kabob and Chicken Barg Kabob. The kabobs were grilled to perfection, bursting with flavors that transported us to the bustling streets of Tehran. Accompanied by fragrant saffron rice, every bite was a symphony of tastes and textures. The Fesenjan stole the show with its rich walnut and pomegranate sauce, gently coating tender chicken. It was a dish that exuded comfort and tradition, leaving a lasting impression. To cap off our meal, we indulged in Persian ice cream infused with saffron and rose water. Its delicate sweetness provided a perfect finale to our exquisite dining experience. While Lavash is undeniably a culinary gem, it's important to note that parking can be challenging in the area. Plan ahead or consider alternative transportation options to fully enjoy your visit without stress. What truly sets Lavash apart, beyond its exceptional cuisine, is the attentive service and genuine hospitality. The staff made us feel like honored guests, ensuring every aspect of our meal was impeccable. Lavash isn't just my wife's favorite; it's now one of mine too. For anyone seeking an authentic taste of Iran in San Francisco, Lavash in the Inner Sunset is a must-visit. Prepare to be delighted and transported by the flavors and warmth that define Persian cuisine at its finest.

Celebrated my birthday with lunch at Lavash recently and couldn't have asked for a better time. After a walk at nearby Golden Gate Park, we ventured over and sat outside in the lovely little parklet. We enjoyed the flowers, particularly the beautiful orchids, and while there is some street noise it didn't detract from the day. My SO had never had Persian food before and I was excited to "show him around", so to speak. I loooove Persian food so we ordered the sabzi paneer and kash-e-bademjan to start. Then for mains he had the prawns kabob and I went for the joojeh soltani (one chicken and one koobideh kabob). They asked if I would prefer thigh, breast or a mix, which I really appreciated, and I chose a mix. Everything was so delicious and well seasoned and the portions are so large we had a great amount of leftovers to enjoy later. The staff was also friendly and helpful, and we didn't have too much trouble finding parking. We will for sure be back! A new favorite for us!

Such a gem. I'm a big Persian food fan and this spot was so delicious. The space is very nice, good spot for a date or a nice dinner with family. The service was pretty good. We order a lot of food. The roasted egg plant was soo good, great to try and share. The Sabzi Panir app is a generous size and also good for the table, they put a lot of pita bread. I ordered the Joojeh Soltani, it has beef and chicken but I think next time I'll do the beef next time. The chicken was good but I just liked the beef more. The lamb was also good, it came with 4 lamb chops.
